A website can be password protected to restrict public access.
Password protected sites are generally created for Agent access when a management company has set up a mini-site containing discounted rates and access to the booking engine. There may be other use cases for this feature depending on the needs of the property manager.
Note: If password protection is enabled, the website content will not be available to the general public without the correct username and password.
